About Ikepo
I am a Business and Communications graduate from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in the UK. I have always enjoyed helping children learn, and I often support my younger cousins with their reading, writing, and school assignments. These experiences have taught me to be patient, focused, and able to explain concepts in a clear, simple way. Although I am new to formal tutoring, I take pride in being organised, reliable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment. I aim to help children build confidence in their everyday English skills and feel supported in their schoolwork. I take care with my spelling, grammar, and communication, and I bring a professional, friendly approach to every lesson.

I teach using a patient and focused approach that helps children feel comfortable and supported as they learn. My lessons would be interactive and tailored to each child’s needs, combining reading practice, simple writing activities, conversation, and guided help with homework or school assignments. A typical session would last around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the child’s age and attention span. I am a Business and Communications graduate from the University of Waterloo in Canada, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in the UK. Although I am new to formal tutoring, I have experience helping my younger cousins with their schoolwork, reading, and writing, which has taught me how to explain concepts clearly and encourage children at their own pace. I hope to work with children aged 5–14 who need support with everyday English, schoolwork, or confidence-building rather than exam preparation.
