About Jonathan

Most Business English tutors can teach grammar. Fewer understand how English actually functions inside a company.

I combine formal expertise in English—with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in English and TEFL certification—with over 15 years of real experience in corporate America. I’ve managed teams, led meetings, negotiated, and communicated daily across departments and seniority levels. This allows me to teach not only correct English, but effective English.

Because I understand business culture, hierarchy, tone, and expectations, I help students communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally in real workplace situations. Lessons focus on conversation, realistic scenarios, and immediate feedback, so mistakes are corrected in context—exactly how language is learned fastest.
Unlike tutors who rely on textbooks designed for classrooms, I tailor every lesson to the student’s role, industry, and goals. The result is faster progress, higher confidence, and English that actually works at work.
If your goal is professional success—not academic exercises—you’ll benefit from learning with someone who has lived the language you need.

Business English for Professionals — Taught by a Corporate Insider

Stop wasting time on English lessons that feel like school. If you need English for meetings, emails, presentations, or career growth, you need a teacher who understands how business actually works.

I’m a TEFL-certified native English teacher with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in English and 15+ years of experience working in corporate America. I’ve managed teams, led meetings, negotiated, and communicated across all levels of an organization. I teach the English professionals really use—not textbook English.

What you’ll get in my lessons:

Clear, professional business emails
Confident speaking in meetings and presentations
Negotiation and persuasive language
Business and industry-specific vocabulary
Real-time grammar correction while you speak

My lessons are 100% customized to your role, industry, and goals. We focus on conversation and real business scenarios, not worksheets or childish exercises. I correct mistakes naturally as you speak, helping you sound fluent, confident, and professional without breaking your flow.

This is ideal for professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, and job seekers who want practical results—not academic theory.

If you’re serious about improving your Business English and advancing your career, book a lesson and let’s get to work.
