About Johanna

I am a student going for a major in both business and psychology. I have worked in two schools, the first was a charter school that was based on small school ideals, and the second being a public school with 500 students. I have taken and passed the paraprofessional exam in California.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is very abstract. I worked as a student assistant for children with learning disabilities so the way I taught changed case by case. I found that the best way to teach someone is to find what works best for that student (visuals, abstract concepts, brainstormings) and use that method until the student wants to branch out to other styles of learning.
