About Violet
I am a Political Science graduate student, excited to share some university retrospect with high-school students in the hopes of introducing a bit of edge to their English and other writing-related subjects. I am well-practiced when it comes to reading, writing and critical thinking - thanks to my four year BA degree. I have only tutored a handful of high-school students but all showed significant improvement.

I have assisted almost all ages but mostly high-school students. I don't like to tell students what is correct and incorrect, I find this alone does little to facilitate improvement. Understanding content, and most importantly the process, is much more important for me to achieve with my students - especially in subjects such as English, History and other reading and writing-related subjects. My methods thus often depend on the student's needs and the subject matter at hand.
