Capella graduate 2025 bachelors in information technology. Patient and reliable tutor helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and stay on track

As a parent of an autistic first grader, finding the right tutor felt impossible until we found Desiree. She has been incredible with our son. From the very first session, she was patient, calm, and naturally understood how he would consume the most out of each session . She adapts her teaching style to fit his needs, keeps him engaged, and celebrates his progress in a way that really builds his confidence. She doesn’t just “teach” him she makes it stick and he is always so excited when it’s her again.

What impressed me most is how she balances structure with kindness. Our son actually looks forward to his lessons now, which is something we never thought we’d see. His reading and focus have improved, but even more importantly, his self-esteem has grown.

If you’re looking for a tutor who truly understands children, especially those with autism or learning differences, I cannot recommend Desiree enough. She’s professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about her students’ success.

Desiree is an amazing tutor. She explained math concepts in a way my child finally understood after struggling for months. She is patient, organized, and keeps lessons engaging while still structured. My child feels more confident and actually looks forward to sessions. Highly recommend her to any parent needing supportive, reliable help.
