About Bethany
I bring five years of elementary teaching experience and a strong track record of helping students make meaningful academic growth. For three years, I taught third grade in classrooms where many students began the year below grade level; through targeted instruction, consistent support, and engaging lessons, students showed significant improvement in reading and overall achievement by the end of the year.
I also taught first grade for two years, including students who were learning English for the first time. I helped children progress from recognizing few or no letters and sounds to reading complete sentences with confidence. My experience working with diverse learners has strengthened my ability to meet students where they are, build trust, and create clear, effective learning plans tailored to each child’s needs.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence and strengthen their reading and academic skills in a fun, engaging way. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to improve their reading abilities, or simply wants to maintain their skills over the summer, I create lessons that make learning enjoyable and effective. I love incorporating music, games, and interactive activities that students can use both during our sessions and independently at home. My goal is to help every child grow as a learner while developing skills that will support their success in and out of the classroom.
