Barbara has over twenty years of education, obtaining an Education Specialist Degree (also known as A.B.D.) in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, including a Master's Degree in Curriculum/Instruction with an emphasis in reading from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of North Florida. Barbara has Highly Qualified /Clear Renewable Certificate (No Child Left Behind) in the following areas: ESOL, Computer Competency for GA Certification, Regular Education (FL Grades 1-6), Reading, and Exceptional Student Education.
Barbara is well known for her exuberance and out going nature, as well as her passion for teaching. she is trained in researched based, best-practice teaching methods that address the various modalities of learning. Instruction is adapted to meet the needs of each unique learner.
