About Vivian

My name is Vivian Ramirez and I've been part of the education system for 9 years now. For 8 years, I've been teaching Mathematics in middle school for regular and GT students. I love teaching Math because I like how it all builds through each grade level as you keep learning. I love to hear the "AHA" moments and makes me feel like I got through students understanding. Math can be difficult to learn but it can also be fun to work with. Teaching Math has been a passion of mine because I love taking a new challenge and try to figure it out.

I first like to see what the student knows and understands before proceeding with lessons in order to know where the student stands in that certain concept. After, I like to provide lessons on the learning gaps and then add it to the new concepts it builds into. I also like to know what techniques a student has been taught. All my lessons are for middle school students (6th - 8th Grades).
