About Sarah

I can tutor in science (physical and astronomy) and math. I am available on Saturdays and Sundays.

I really enjoy the moment a student truly understands. Helping a student acheive their goals is an extremely rewarding job.

I actually started teaching as a dog trainer. I taught classes for three years and found that I love it. I wanted to share my love and knowlegde of math and science with kids. So I became a high school teacher.



I have a degree in Astronomy with a Math Minor. In college I tutored Math, Physics, and Astronomy for two years. I also have a teaching certificate and teach Algrebra 1 at a High school.

I first like to get the know the student while I also inquire about the goal of the student. Once the goal is clear I ask what the student already knows and what he/she needs work with. I then can set up a plan to help the student succeed.



I have worked with Middle school students up to college level. I have also worked with students with learning diabilities like, dyslexia, adhd, and autisim. I work a lot with English Learners as well.
