I have been a B.C. public school teacher for 19 years. I have a passion for teaching reading and writing and I believe strongly that the right approach can unlock a child's potential. I love teaching and believe that it's clearly shown through my enthusiastic, student-centred teaching style.

For students ages 5-8, my sessions are 45 minutes long and incorporate games, and age-appropriate hands-on learning materials that will keep your child engaged.
For students ages 9-12, my sessions are 55 minutes long and will still incorporate games to keep your child engaged in meaningful learning.
For ages 12+, sessions will be 55 minutes, and will be fun, engaging, and most of all, a good use of my and your time.
All students will be assessed during their first session to determine their unique needs. Ongoing formative and summative assessments will be done to inform myself, the student, and of course the parents. If needed, I am more than happy to communicate with your child's classroom teacher to gain a better understanding of his/her learning needs.
