About Lily

I believe every student can succeed when they are supported, encouraged, and challenged at the right level. My lessons are personalized to each student's learning style, helping them build confidence while developing strong English skills.

I have four years of experience teaching elementary and middle school students in South Korea and Spain, as well as one year teaching intermediate adult ESL learners in Australia. Working with students of different ages, abilities, and cultural backgrounds has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to each learner's needs.

My lessons focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, writing, and critical thinking through engaging activities, discussions, and interactive exercises. Each lesson begins with a brief review before introducing a new concept, followed by guided practice and meaningful activities that help students apply what they have learned. I provide regular feedback and adjust my teaching to ensure steady progress.

About the lesson

I believe the best learning happens when students are actively involved, curious, and confident enough to ask questions. Every child learns at their own pace, so I tailor each lesson to match their age, learning style, strengths, and areas for growth. My goal is not only to improve English skills but also to help students become independent, confident learners who enjoy reading, writing, and expressing their ideas.
A typical lesson would start with review of the previous lesson, with an activity or game. Then, an introduction, practice, and independent exercise with a new concept focus (ie. grammar, vocab, reading, or writing). Lesson expertise would be especially for ESL learners and K-8 students. These fundamentals are very important for foundation building to achieve future success in high school and college level classes. My lessons would be highly tailored to individual needs and regular feedback and collaboration is highly encouraged.
