About Julie
As a chemical engineering student with a focus in environmental applications, I have had to learn a variety of difficult topics that at first seem impossible, but with the correct approach, I find that anyone can learn anything. I have worked as a writing tutor, an engineering robotics instructor, and a camp counselor in the hopes to pass this growth mindset onto students.

Through approaching difficult concepts by first confirming background knowledge of the type of problem before using example based instruction, I help the student see the patterns that arise so they will be able to repeat problems on their own. I have been using this technique for myself and past students through all my years of academia.
