Eric is very patient. I'm picking up chess a bit late in life, so it means a lot to be treated with respect even when making rookie mistakes.
Eric will let you ask questions, and will break things down in a way that makes it easy to understand.

Eric is a wonderful teacher! He's patient, fun, and really takes his time with you. He's obviously VERY skilled but his love for the game and for teaching really stands out. He's good for people of all skill levels and creates a perfect balance of pushing/challenging you to get to the next level while also making you feel really good about wherever you're at in your chess journey.
