About Irene

Hi, I'm Malaysian who is also a Chinese native speaker, with more than 11 years of Chinese education. I have Grade A for Chinese in the government exam too. Grown up in a multicultural environment, I am fluent in both English and Malay, as well as Chinese dialects (i.e. Hokkien, Cantonese, Hakka).

I'm more than happy to share with you the Chinese cultures (i.e. Chinese New Year, Mid Autumn Festival etc) and do share with me yours too!

p/s : I was a k-pop fans so I know some very basic Korean. Yes I love learning new languages just as how much as you do too! DM me for trial class and see you!

About the lesson

☞ 30-minute trial class for a free talk/quiz about your learning goal and Chinese level will be arranged.

☞ focus on conversational Chinese, for you to speak with other Chinese (NOT exam oriented)

☞ 1 hour lesson via online meeting

☞ suitable for both adults and kids who does not have basic in Chinese

☞ syllabus provided : daily conversation, pronunciation, reading, speaking, listening, writing, vocab, grammar

☞ study materials (notebook and practices) will be provided before class

☞ provide after-class support (i.e. whatsapp, telegram etc)

☞ small group class can be arranged, DM for discussion

• friendly teacher, open for discussions with students
• customized class upon request
• replacement class can be arranged for cancelled class

Michael is a Korean with basic Chinese knowledge, hence he catch out very fast with pīnyīn and basic daily conversation. He is very participative in the class too, voice out his request whenever there are new areas that he is interested to know and learn. Pronunciations and tones are the areas that he needs to improve, nevertheless this is very common for a new beginner in Mandarin. Conclusion, he is progressing well in learning Mandarin. Keep it up!
