Hello my dear friends! Nice to meet you! I’m Donna, a native Chinese teacher. It's my pleasure to introduce myself and my lessons to you

-      I am a native Chinese speaker who hold the Level-2A certificate of Mandarin, which is qualified to be a Chinese teacher.

-      I can speak English (C1), German (Germanistik bachelor degree), which is my major in the university, so I know the strategies well about how foreigners learn a foreign language.

-      As a native tutor, my teaching experience is more than 3 years. Besides, I taught Chinese to my foreign colleagues and German boss for 3 years. I can teach from 5 to 80 years old, No matter what your age, level, or background, we can happily learn Chinese together.

-      I have been working in a world top 500 100% foreign company for 11 years, proficiently using English and German as working language. If you're interested in culture, news and trends in Chinese workplace and industry, or you're looking for advice of working in China, I believe I'm the right person to talk to :)

About the lesson

– I can teach test-oriented Chinese, Chinese culture, Business Chinese, Chinese for beginners/children, etc. I will be so happy to be your culture guide.

-       I will help you build a confidence of learning Chinese. I know the right amount of challenging you as a student, while being very encouraging.

-       I have a lot of tips to learn. I can teach the tones in a very fun way, that you can easily remember them.

-       I will customize a lesson plan for you and tailor the lessons to your goals and pacing. I will always make sure all of your questions will be answered. If you are not a beginner, I will plan my lessons to build on words you already knew. My teaching content in each class is very organized and very clear for you to learn, you can learn a lot in each session.

-       My teaching style is easy to follow, I have a great sense of humor and make you feel comfortable even when you make a mistake. I am patient enough, you can interrupt at any time to ask a question, I can respond quickly to your requests to emphasize certain parts of the subject matters, such as pronunciation.

-       I would not only teach you new words and structures, but also help you to use them in real Chinese conversation. I will always give many examples to show the explanations. Besides, phonetic Chinese, system Chinese character's, Chinese words and expressions, Chinese grammar points, I will also share the most authentic Chinese culture with you.

-       I am quite flexible about the schedule. You can cancel a lesson anytime in advance and I will keep the lesson credit for you.

-       I will send notes and exercise after each class to help you review. I will also conduct Chinese conversations at the beginning of each lesson to help you review.
