About Jemma
As someone who was at the top of my class throughout KS2, to be told the summer before I started my GCSEs that I was performing way below the level I should be at came as a complete shock. However, with the help of my elder sister, a maths tutor, and a lot of hard work, I managed to get back on track within a year. I passed all my GCSEs with top grades and managed to gain a 2:1 from a Russell Group university studying a subject I am extremely passionate about. With the right tutor working one-on-one with you, a difficult subject can suddenly make sense.

I offer 30min-1hr online lessons to anyone, and 45min-1hr lessons in-person for anyone able to commute to the Mid-Devon. I vary my lesson approach depending on who the student is, their abilities, and their age - so this would really depend on the individual. I am available to help with the following: A-level: Classical Civilisation (NO Latin/Ancient Greek), English Literature, Psychology GCSE: Classics, English Literature, English Language, History KS2: Any subject I currently have in-school experience working with primary aged children.
