About Holly
I am a full time graduate student who recently graduated from Oxford with a 1st Class BA in Classics. I am currently working on a Masters degree in Greek and Latin language and literature. I have experience teaching both Latin and Ancient Greek to everyone from kids just starting secondary school to university undergraduates, and my students have all seen significant improvements in their language skills.
I am passionate about my subject, and love teaching ancient languages and history.

When teaching an ancient language I find it’s really important to provide students with easy and memorable ways to grasp and then to learn aspects of grammar that can otherwise seem complicated.
I also try hard to understand where the student is in terms of their learning, getting to the heart of what they might find difficult, and so meet them where they are. Teaching is a co-operative process, and one-on-one tutoring allows me to really listen to the individual needs of the student.
