About Anissa
I am a young Black woman that has struggled in educational spaces all of my life. I have grown to understand how important it is to be professional, yet compassionate in a learning space. It is important to me to foster safety over insecurity. I believe that all starts in the flexibility and empathy that each teacher possesses and I am very confident in these areas.

I have always been passionate about the importance of one on one tutoring, and the ways that it builds a personal connection to learning. My lesson planning will be personalized around each student I take on. It is imperative to get a grasp on the specific needs of each student to be able to truly cater my knowledge to assisting them in the long term.
