About Miquela

Hi! My name is Miquela, and I'm a recent college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Communication, specializing in Sport and Human Communication. Throughout my academic and professional experiences, I've developed strong reading, writing, and communication skills that I'm excited to share with students.

I understand that learning English can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why I strive to create a positive, patient, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. About the lesson

My approach as a tutor is centered around patience, encouragement, and helping students build confidence in their English skills. Whether a student needs help with reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, or writing, I create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by focused instruction on the day's topic. I use interactive activities, guided practice, reading passages, writing exercises, and constructive feedback to reinforce concepts. I end each session with a recap and, if appropriate, a short practice assignment to help students continue building their skills between lessons.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students and make learning engaging rather than intimidating. As a recent college graduate with strong communication skills, I understand the importance of explaining concepts in clear, relatable ways. My goal isn't just to help students complete assignments—it's to help them become more confident readers, writers, and communicators.
