About the lesson

I am a Bachelor of Elementary Education major in English graduate.
I believe I have been called by God to teach young minds.
I believe that each of us has the right to learn.
I believe that I have the right to instill the right values to the innocent minds of my learners.
I believe that there is no discrimination in teaching, what race you may be from, what religion you believed in, how old you are, rich or poor, those things do not matter because we are all equal.
I believe that each of the things inside the four-walled classroom has a role in imparting the knowledge to the children.
I believe that the children have the right to be appreciated on the things that they do.
I must be a good model to my students, show them how to be one so that they will follow me.
I accept the challenge that I will strive for excellence for my learners.
I am a teacher and I was born to change a life of a student one step at a time.

My Educational Philosophy

A teacher’s philosophy is one way to determine if the teacher has really plans on becoming a real educator. Teachers should reflect on their philosophies so that they can learn about what they are doing in order to grow as a person.
My Philosophy of Education as a Grade School Teacher:
I believe that every child is an embodied spirit. Has a natural interest in learning.
Has the capability to learn. Can be influenced but not totally by his/her environment. Is unique and so comparing a child to other children has no basis. I believe that every child deserves to achieve his/her highest potential. A teacher should not limit what the child can do as long as it is his/her own betterment. I should be the one to support the child instead. I believe that one of my role is to teach them to think, speak, write, and read with clarity, precision, and independence. In order to achieve my role as a teacher I should follow my teaching philosophies which are broken down into 4 categories: the foundation (Progressivism and Essentialism), classroom environment, diversity, and interpersonal.
