About Amanda
Obtaining a well-rounded education is so important to me. Thinking critically begins in school, particularly when it comes to literature. Once this skill is cultivated, you can use it in so many different aspects in life. These skills have helped me begin my college career double majoring in Political Science and Pre-Law. These skills translate well into my school career, and as an afterschool teacher from K-6th grade. I assist on the foundation their teacher gives them, and break it down to easier terms so they can complete the task in front of them.

I enjoy helping others think deeper into what they are reading, and translate that in their opinion, what is important. When someone understands what they are reading, and are able to translate their thoughts into an assignment, it creates a bigger and lasting impact on them. They may discover a new and exciting form of critical thinking, and enjoy themselves!
