About Lacey

I am a freshman in college holding a very high GPA. I am part of the National Honor Society as I was in high school. I am very excited at the idea of the opportunity to help share my knowledge with others to help them become more successful!

About the lesson

As a young college student, I have a unique set of advantages that can make me an excellent English tutor for people of all ages and backgrounds. Here are some reasons why you should consider selecting me as their English tutor: 1. Fresh perspective: As a young college student, I bring a fresh and current perspective to the study of English. I am up-to-date with the latest trends and styles in written and spoken English, which can be valuable for people who want to improve their language skills for personal or professional reasons. 2. Relatability: Because I may be closer in age to my students, I may be able to relate to them more easily than an older tutor. This can make it easier for them to open up to me and feel comfortable asking questions or sharing their concerns about English. 3. Enthusiasm: As a young college student, I am very passionate about English and excited to share my knowledge with others. This enthusiasm can be infectious and can inspire my students to engage more deeply with the language. 4. Flexibility: As a college student, I have a more flexible schedule than someone who is working full-time. This means that I am able to work with your students at times that are convenient for them. Honestly, the only reason I passed my ap lit class is because Lacey helped me through it. We met through mutuals, and she offered to help me through some classes i'd been having trouble with. She's a well rounded teacher, but her knowledge with literary subjects is extremely extensive. I had little idea what I was doing and she always had very clear and understandable ways to explain everything. 10/10 will be her student for my other classes!!
