About Jhon Barreto
I have a degree in Dance from the University of Antioquia (Colombia). I have had experience as a scenic artist working in various productions of various international companies, I began my process with Colombian folk dance since 1998, since 2010 I began my studies in contemporary dance. At the same time, collaborations in living arts and theater emerged. I am Deputy Director of the Endanzante meeting that has been held in Medellín since 2012 and I am director of the Rancho A Parte company. more info on my website (concealed information)

I seek that each student can learn from their body and their experience, so that from there they have new parameters in contrast to the fields of study to be deepened. My body as an interpreter is a means for my students to have a reference but not a model to follow, I recognize that my experience has allowed me to deepen various languages from which I abstract tools, sensations and explorations that I use so that students experience them and from they with their bodies build their own way.
