About Jacob
I always knew I wanted to be a writer, and it has always been my passion. I grew up in Austin, Texas, where I eventually received a bachelor's degree in Radio-Television-Film with a minor in Creative Writing and Computer Science. After working as a corporate consultant while continuing to write, I enrolled at Columbia University and received an MFA in Screenwriting, while also teaching an undergraduate screenwriting class, mentoring another class, and operating in the role of class president. I have since moved to Los Angeles, where I have scripts set up with producers and one in pre-production. I would love to help any young writers to better reach their goals.

Depending on experience level we will operate with goal-oriented lesson plans, and adjust the content of them accordingly.
If the aim is to write an essay or a story, we will plan it thoroughly and work towards meeting that goal together by breaking it down into its simplest parts and progressing through them.
If background or any additional studying or tutoring is needed we will create new goals towards accumulating knowledge of the topics required before moving forward.
