About Marina
I am currently studying Comparative Literature and Film Studies at Queen Mary University of London aspiring to become a filmmaker. For my GCSEs, I picked Separate Sciences, History and French, the continued French and History as well as English Literature at A-Level. Whilst I have not had professional experience in tutoring, I have been tutoring younger fellow students since Year 9. I have also taught drama to students aged 4-16 for two years. To be quite frank, the main reason why I am currently getting into tutoring is it is a convenient way to make money whilst also focusing on my studies. However, that does not make me any less motivated to help you do well in your academic ventures. When I was doing my GCSE and A-levels, I did not have someone help me create a revision method personalised to me, I lacked focus, I was easily distracted and I also lacked motivation. Thus, I ended up struggling towards the beginning of my A-Levels. Thankfully, I managed to create a method that worked for me. So, because of this, I want to help other students not go through the same struggles I did.

Depending on the grade you aim to achieve, we will take proactive, interactive and organised approaches geared to the individual. Regardless of your current grades, we will strive and aspire for the best possible final grades by setting up personalised week-by-week schedules. In the first lesson, we will get to know each other's work styles and work ethics in order to prepare for the weeks ahead. I will set you some work to do each week, which we will cover in the next week's lessons to prepare you for university-style teaching. With mutual trust and hard work from both parties, you can achieve any grade you aspire towards.
