About Beth
One goal I keep is to learn something new every day. I received a master’s degree in art history and spent 20 years working in arts and business. I now share my love of learning with students age 5 to 75. Sharing knowledge and seeing students successfully use the skills I teach them is the most rewarding work I have done.

I am a Literacy Coach at an elementary school in New Mexico and I am certified to teach the Reading Horizons phonics reading program. A typical lesson plan is tailored to your age and skill level. A lesson will include direct instruction, practice and fun enrichment games or activities that are proven to make you a better English speaker and reader. All ages and skill levels are warmly welcomed. I am patient, compassionate and gentle. Together we can learn to speak and read English!
