About Jacob
I am a senior studying Mathematics and Computer Science at Chapman University. I tutor students weekly at my university both in mathematics and computer science. Furthermore, in the local Memphis area, I have worked as a tutor for The Tutors, a local prominent tutoring organization. Finally, this past summer I received a research grant to build a piece of educational software for students at the high school/college level. I will be in the Memphis area until the end of January on winter break.

Lessons are example-based and work from the ground-up. I try to meet the student at their current level of understanding and use as little technical jargon as possible to explain new concepts. I encourage students to ask questions so that we can both be confident that they have a thorough understanding of the concept that we are currently exploring.
