About Mrinmoy
Hello, Class!
Who I Am
I’m your instructor, and I’m here to change the way you look at Math and English. I didn't get into teaching because I love long, dusty textbooks or complex equations that no one uses in real life. I got into this because I believe these two subjects are the ultimate "power tools" for your future.
I'm someone who values clarity over complexity. I believe that if you can’t explain something simply, you don’t understand it well enough yet. My goal isn't to make you a human calculator or a Shakespearean scholar; it's to make you a confident problem-solver and a powerful communicator.
Why I Want to Share My Knowledge
I want to share what I know because I’ve seen how much "simpler" life becomes when you master the basics.
In Math: I want to show you that numbers aren't just symbols on a page—they are the language of money, logic, and making smart decisions.
In English: I want to give you the keys to the kingdom. Being able to write a clear email, argue your point effectively, and tell your own story is how you get what you want in the world.
I share my knowledge because I want to take the "scary" out of these subjects. I want to replace "I'm not a math person" or "I hate writing" with "I can handle this."
My Promise to You
I will keep it practical. If we’re learning it, I’ll tell you why it matters.
I will keep it fair. No trick questions or "gotcha" moments.
I will be your partner. We are a team, and your success is my success.
Let's make this semester the easiest "hard" thing you’ve ever done.

I'll use these two rules:
The "No-Blue-Book" Rule: Check the syllabus. If the grade is 100% based on two massive essays or two massive exams, skip it. Look for classes with weekly small assignments—it keeps your grade stable.
Use the Writing Center/Tutoring: Most schools offer these for free. Having someone else look at your math homework or proofread your English paper for 15 minutes can turn a "C" into an "A" with zero extra effort on your part.
