About Robby
Playing violin professionally for 5 years means my path has been anything but linear. Does your own musical journey feel a bit messy right now? That complexity is actually a strength because it makes me a more grounded guide for students who want to be wrong out loud while refining sight reading, music theory, and left hand agility.
My Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music provides a foundation for teaching scales, arpeggios, and orchestral habits. I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to keep everyone aligned on growth. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to discuss how we might work together.

Stepping into your first hour involves finding where your current rhythm and intonation stand, so how does your playing feel under pressure? I maintain a flexible approach where we do not rush through material, preferring to actually finish a piece before moving on.
Shifting positions and tuning by ear are handled through the lens of my performance background. Since I abandon scripts when a better instructional path appears, we prioritize what you need in the moment. Does this conversational style of technical development sound like the right fit for your goals?
