About Stephen
I hold an honors degree in communication from Cornell University and two years of experience leading teams in RLHF training for Meta's Llama AI models. Prior to my university experience, I worked for ten years as a songwriter. I am fascinated by the fundamentals of language and culture, media effects, and artificial intelligence. Sharing what I've learned is one of my favorite ways to spend my time.

My lessons vary according to your needs. I'm patient, detail-oriented and ready with a good joke. Primarily I teach adult learners and undergrads (or soon-to-be undergrads). We'll begin by identifying your goals and breaking them down into measurable steps. I don't like to teach from a "that's just how it's done" perspective but from the roots up with clear reasoning that you'll remember on test day.
