About Aara
I am someone who feels a lot for someone, please I feel so much more for animals especially cats and dogs. During my free time I like to read, and in fact I am working on publishing a book soon enough. English is something that is beautiful because you can relate when you understand the meaning of a sentence or a song even. Teaching to me is something that is rewarding, I grew up in a competitively challenging environment but that did not stop me from reading more or trying to speak better English. I believe every student learns differently, so I use a flexible approach that mixes clear explanations, real-life examples, interactive practice, and step-by-step guidance. I focus on making lessons engaging, breaking down complex ideas into simple, understandable parts. My style is supportive and encouraging—I create a space where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. A standard lesson runs 60 minutes, which allows enough time for explanation, practice, and review. For younger learners or very focused sessions, I also offer 30–45 minute lessons. For in-depth topics or exam prep, we can extend to 90 minutes. I have a Diploma In Counseling Psychology and Diploma in Youth Counseling and Management - I have my ways with kids. Beyond formal training, I’ve worked with for English. I’ve guided learners preparing for exams, boosting academic performance, and developing personal study skills that last beyond the classroom. Primary 1–6: Building core foundations in English, homework guidance, and PSLE preparation. Secondary 1–4: Strengthening subject mastery, improving study skills, and preparing for key exams. Lessons are tailored to each child’s learning style and academic needs, ensuring progress at their own pace.
