About Brielle
I’m an English tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Cultural Studies. I enjoy teaching English through meaningful conversations about real-world topics. Language becomes much more interesting when it connects to global ideas and current events.
In my lessons, we analyse news articles, watch documentaries, and discuss media coverage of important issues. These materials help students strengthen reading, listening, and speaking skills in a natural way. They also make learning English more engaging and relevant.
A key part of my teaching focuses on understanding bias in media. Students learn how to identify different perspectives and form their own informed opinions. I also introduce discussions about journalistic ethics and responsible reporting.
My classes attract politically aware learners, aspiring journalists, and students interested in global culture. I encourage open discussion and thoughtful debate. My teaching approach brings English learning to life through the exciting world of food. Cooking and culinary experiences provide wonderful opportunities for conversation and creativity. In my lessons, students learn useful vocabulary about ingredients, cooking methods, and flavours.
We also explore recipes and practise explaining them step by step. This improves both speaking and listening skills. Students gain confidence when describing processes clearly.
I include real-life situations such as ordering at restaurants, reading menus, and asking about different dishes. These exercises prepare learners for travel and social experiences. Students also enjoy sharing stories about meals they love.
I encourage expressive language so learners can describe taste, texture, and aroma with vivid detail. Lessons are friendly, engaging, and imaginative. My goal is to help students communicate naturally and confidently. Let’s make English learning delicious and inspiring while discovering the joy of food.
