Mark is an absolutely stunning tutor. Last semester, he tutored me in Write202 (a poetry paper at Waikato University), and I cannot thank him enough for the work that he did, and continues to do, to help me grow as a poet. Starting off with absolutely zero poetry experience, Mark taught me how to find my own unique writing style and cultivate it into some pieces that I am truly proud of. Mark is extremely dedicated to his craft and will make you feel appreciated and understood. He is quick to give constructive feedback and encouragement, creating an environment where you feel empowered to explore your creative boundaries. In the future, I hope to keep in touch with this fantastic individual, as I would never have progressed this far without his guidance.
