About Lily
The love of English is an asset that I've obtained over the past several years. However, initially, I dealt with ups and downs in English class, while I always maintained an A I struggled to understand content on a deeper level. This was until I had a teacher who taught and read content differently; the realization that English can be taught and understood differently sparked a love of English and teaching others. I have since then competed in many poetry contests and involved myself in speech and debate. This can be you, too!

A typical lesson plan looks like...
5 min of planning/ the topic we are trying to tackle
10 min of work- show me what you're capable of
15 min of working together to improve work and learning new skills
*If lessons are an hour, double the time of each section*
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to relate to others and their struggles. The ability to relate opens up the door for improvement with trust and comfort built.
