About Amy
I'm currently working for a non-profit that focuses a lot on working with youth, so I am confident in my ability to support students on a one-on-one level. I'm currently in the Creative Writing program at Florida State University, so I have extensive experience writing academic essays (that get graded 100%!), workshopping my peers' work, and writing creative works of my own (which have been published in places such as Applause Magazine).

I take on a hands-on approach to teaching, telling students a mix of positive and constructive feedback that keeps students motivated in their writing! For Essays: *Help in structure and organization of ideas. *Thesis assistance. *How to write an effective counterpoint. Creative Works: *Thorough workshopping that helps students create an engaging narrative. *Education about literary devices that will make students' writing more unique. *Qualified to assist on short stories and creative nonfiction! I'm looking to work with high school students and college students!
