About Aether
I already have 1 previous year of tutoring experience, from working at my school's writing center as an English tutor, and I have a few years of experience working with elementary school and middle school-aged children from extracurriculars and babysitting jobs. I am familiar with instruction, formulating lesson plans, and age-appropriate teaching methods. In my own academic journey, I have done AP, Honors, IB, and Dual enrollment college courses all through high school, so I am familiar with the best methods for studying and material understanding as well as test taking. I am also very familiar with the ACT and SAT tests, how to score well and study for them, and the college application process.

As a current student, I am well immersed in the academic space, and I consider myself a lifelong learner, which includes learning about you and you or your child's needs as a student. We would start with a consultation, talking about what is working and what isn't working; followed by making a plan together with a focus on developing valuable skills and how to apply them to concepts. During each lesson we will check in again. What went well last week? What do you still not understand? What did/didn't you like? What was interesting or boring? And we will keep checking in and adapting to each other as we go along.
