About Alishia
I am a current undergraduate student who just graduated with her associate's degree in English/Communications/Professional Writing. I was able to graduate with a 3.8 GPA and was able to make it onto the Dean's List 4 semesters total. I have experience as a peer writing tutor and a supplemental instructor leader (English 101 Honors course) while completing my associate's degree. I am passionate about education and it being equitable for everyone, this has been a lifelong passion of mine since 2010. I am currently applying for four-year colleges for a political science or public policy degree and my short list is Smith College, Amherst College, Yale, and Harvard.

I offer personalized tutoring services based on the student's specific needs and preferences. My academic tutoring wraps in executive functioning skills to allow students the best future outcomes. I offer sessions over Google Meets and in person. I am here to assist and help middle school, high school, and college students excel in areas they normally struggle with. I am passionate about education being easily accessible to anyone who shows an interest in expanding their mind.
