About Jack
I'm a current undergraduate student in my second year at the University of Cambridge, studying Classics. I acquired Latin and Greek ab initio in my first year, and have experience with a wide range of Latin authors, and an even wider range of English ones. I'm looking for enthusiastic students with an interest in reading widely - at any level of proficiency. Interest is as good as aptitude- if not better!

I offer personally tailored sessions with a flexible plan to support students' needs alongside school provision or outside interest. I'm also willing to teach those not studying a subject in school; I learnt Latin myself ab initio at university and have achieved a high level since, so I'm able to support absolute beginners all the way. With literature, Latin or English, I offer reading sessions in authors of interest, providing help with grammar, interpretation, and analysis. Overall I aim to be engaging, pleasant, and (ideally) as fun as I am informative.
