About Elaine
Hi, I'm Elaine and I'm currently studying finance in UOA. English is my first language, and I specialize in teaching it at all levels. I have a strong focus on helping international students build confidence in everyday communication around Auckland. Besides that, I also teach Mathematics up to a high school level. Thank you for looking into my profile! I have experience as a private tutor teaching English and Math for kindergarten, primary, and high school students taking IGCSE. I was also a mentor at my college for General Mathematics, following the MUFY (Monash University Foundation Year) syllabus. I help my students understand modules and assignments using a step-by-step approach and by giving simple real-life examples, allowing them to grasp concepts easily. I also include fun activities for practice, and can assist them with exam preparation by helping them get familiar with the question formats. I’m dedicated to progressively guiding students in building their foundational knowledge so they can keep winning in the future.
