About Lauren

Hi, I'm Lauren! I am an honors student at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. I am currently a sophomore public policy and sociology major. I love reading and even excel at it. My reading level is that of a graduate student (17th grade). I have tutored students in English and helped with test prep. I also edit and assist with writing college essays. I also have plenty of experience in speech writing and delivering. As a student myself I have written plenty of essays and now I want to help you. I think learning can be fun if it is done correctly and I would love to help you make it a fabulous experience.

About the lesson

I can tailor your lesson plan to your specific needs. We will go over what you would like to accomplish and together we can formulate a lesson plan. I tutor K-12 students. We can review/write essays, work on reading comprehension skills, develop basic English skills, prepare for standardized tests, and anything else you would like help with.

As a student myself I understand how difficult learning can be, but with a little extra help, we can make it an enjoyable experience. I believe that every student has different needs and as someone with ADHD, I struggled because learning was never tailored to my specific needs and I would like to help you avoid that sort of learning experience.
