About Akeelah
I’m currently a university student who is passionate about English and learning. I achieved distinctions in high school and received a merit award for English and I’ve always loved reading and expressing ideas clearly. I also play hockey, which has taught me discipline and how to work well with others.
I want to tutor English because I know how important confidence is when it comes to learning. I enjoy helping others understand things in a simple and relatable way and I want my students to feel comfortable, capable, and proud of their progress.
