About Tom

Having worked in IT for over 10 years since my initial studies, I have found the industry favours meeting certain success criteria which then triggers promotion or a role & responsibility change. This keeps things varied and exciting, but quickly separates a person from environments where they can easily share what they have learned with the people who would find it most useful.

I personally find training and knowledge sharing to be one of the more meaningful joys of this field, and I am looking to use this platform as an opportunity to pursue that while also continuing on my own career & learning journey.

About the lesson

I have a background in adult training, though can cater to all different ages.

My approach is through demonstration, where agnostic walk throughs are offered, as well as catered explanations based on a student's specific requests and requirements.

Live demonstration is available for most queries, I am also available for shadowing sessions to provide real time feedback and guidance to a students work process.

In my career I have seen success with a collaborative approach to learning, particularly when describing a skill or toolset.
