About Despoina
I’m a native Greek speaker with a background in Psychology and currently pursuing a Master’s in Health Psychology. While teaching a language and practising psychology might seem different, they both centre on one key principle: building trust and human connection. My goal as a teacher is to create a space that is safe, open, and relaxed — just like I would with a client. I believe that learning should be fun, not stressful or forced. Hello learners :) My name is Despoina, I'm working as a native Greek Tutor since February 2025, while in the past I have voluntarily been a tutor for an elementary student. Together we will explore the fun aspect of practising the Greek language on a daily basis. My classes focus mostly on speaking; casual and everyday conversation. Classes can be tailored according to your needs and I can accept students of all levels. No matter how much you know, I'll make sure to build your confidence and show you that learning a language can be fun and not stressful. After each class I'm providing notes and homework.
