About Aman

I am a final year B. Com (Hons.) student at Delhi University. Since I am still a student and was in school not very long ago, I'm quite familiar with challenges school students face academically (and otherwise) in various subjects. I complete my education upto Class X from Goethals Memorial School, Kurseong, Darjeeling, from where I graduated with an average of 94.2% in the ICSE board. Subsequently, I moved to BSF Senior Secondary Residential School, Siliguri, Darjeeling from where I passed Class XII in the commerce stream with an average of 90% in the CBSE board. Honestly, I have never taught before in the kind of professional manner that this platform offers, but I would say that I did guide my juniors and neighbours from time to time and they seem to have liked the way I taught them things. Since I am just starting out, I am only teaching students of class X and below as I feel I would be able to give my best at that level for now.

About the lesson

From every topic that I teach, I extract a central theme around which the whole topic revolves. This gives a clear picture regarding what is there in the given topic without having to pour over it for hours. Written text and lengthy explanations can obviously be tedious and not as explanatory as they are designed to be by authors and publishers. In that case, I like to break it down by answering simpler questions that give an insight into what we are about to study. I believe having a little background of the topic ahead gives students a better understanding without having to spend a lot of time struggling with long texts. Also, it helps if the session is interactive since there is an oppoatunity to listen to different ideas or even the different kinds of difficulties faced by students.
