About Chong

Holding a Diploma in Guitar from Musicians Institute Hollywood means I understand the mechanics of the fretboard down to the smallest detail. I can still taste the stale coffee from those long nights spent drilling scales and modes until my fingers burned. Many of my students are career changers navigating the frustration of returning to an instrument after a long break.

I know exactly how rusty those joints feel and how difficult it is to get moving again. Patterns are the secret to everything from lead guitar to basic rhythm work. I help you see those shapes clearly so music becomes a simple language. I turned my own struggle into a clear map for your growth.

Stumbling over barre chords often stops a good song dead in its tracks. I fix this by showing you how to simplify your grip while keeping the rhythm steady.

We treat guitar as a compositional tool rather than a flashy performance piece. My approach focuses on improvisation and reading sheet music to sharpen your songwriting edge.

You get a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum during the week. This keeps your progress moving forward so you finish your tracks. You will learn to transform your musical ideas into original songs.
