About Danielle

My area of expertise is in Composition Coaching, which includes tutoring, mentoring, proofreading and editing. I'm also passionate about linguistics, so if you're looking for a Verbal Coach, I'm here to help. I speak Spanish as a second language, aunque no soy muy fluida, ¡estoy aquí para ayudarte a mejorar tu pronunciación y comprensión!

a lil' bit about me:

When I'm not at my desk, you can find me out looking for the next plant or antique to bring home with me. Or in the kitchen, testing out my variation on my latest craving.

As I earn more free time, I am interested in developing screenwriting and story-building workshops for children in middle and high school. The intention for these workshops is that they instill essential team building and springboarding skills, in turn, allowing proper verbal and written communication in general. Providing people with exposure to the possibilities of having careers in the arts is something I'm interested in being a highlight of my career.

I hope that I can provide myself with the lifestyle required to manage such projects.

About the lesson

I'm Danielle! I can't wait to meet all of you and help guide you through the world of English, in whatever ways you need. With a degree in English, you can imagine I love writing.

I only have a couple of years of direct teaching experience, though I have been sporadically training throughout the last 10 years of my career. In my first year as a teacher, I taught a class of 3-year-olds. I was brought on as the only English-speaking teacher in the school to teach the children English before they move on to the next level.

I'm presently engaging with 14-19-year-olds in various high schools in my school district.

My lesson plans included immersive experiences that fostered quick learning and strong long-term engagement. And that is my strength, catering my teaching to the students' learning styles. This allows each student to feel encouraged to learn and grow smarter with every passing day.
