About Nick
I've tutored for several years now, have tutored dozens of students of various ages who all have excelled academically after working together. I am an A+ doctoral student, planning on training to be a psychoanalyst in the next year, and I have studied and continued to study with accomplished academics at the university. I have completed a master's thesis with distinction and I have taught at a private schools that teach students university essay writing and thinking in the humanities. I also teach in the Humanities department at York University. My pedagogy is a dialogue based interaction with students with the aim of working from wherever they are in their work, with the goal of helping them grow towards achieving excellence in their work and personal thinking.

Lessons will help students prepare for their writing by helping them organize their thesis and learn to formulate their arguments. I work with the student and help them move towards their goal by helping them organize their projects by means of asking critical questions about their work. The philosophy and psychoanalysis lessons will teach students to read a text closely, ask critical questions about books such that one learns how to think with the text they are reading, and learn about the human condition through a dialogue-oriented session. Some classes can simply be for learning purposes, in which one simply meets with me to discuss the ideas they want to explore and receive a deeper education in. My pedagogy is devoted to the flourishing of the student's own capacity to think and read and learn and my goal will be to help, as much as possible, students learn as deeply and as meaningfully as possible.
