About Lena
I am a trained actor, I graduated from East 15 Acting School in London and have extensive training in the Meisner Technique in addition to that. In recent years, I have mostly worked in theatre, both in London and touring the UK and Ireland. I am also working with Theatre in Education companies, working with students between the ages 12-16. I am bilingual in English and German.

I am experienced in supporting students with drama school auditions, including choosing monologues, acting coaching and preparing you for the audition situation itself. Previous students have successfully auditioned for acting courses in the UK and Europe. My lessons are typically 1 hr long and taught in person in London or online. Acting is something very personal, so all my lessons are tailored to your personal needs and goals. If you have already chosen your material, I will usually ask you to show me what you would like to do and we will play around with that, give notes, do it in different ways, work on your voice, do mock auditions etc. If you don't know where to start choosing monologues: I have a ton of play texts, monologues and TV scripts that we can have a look at together to find the material that suits you and your personality best. As someone who has battled audition nerves and stage fright throughout my entire career, I also know many techniques to stay relaxed before an audition and I am happy to work with you on that as well.
