About Cynthia
Hi, I'm Cynthia — a drama-trained actor and coach with 2 years of industry experience, specializing in self-tape audition preparation.
I understand what makes a self-tape stand out: strong framing, natural camera presence, and choices that feel alive rather than rehearsed. I combine this with solid grounding from my drama school training, so every session is rooted in real craft, not quick fixes.
I've previously taught drama and coached actors informally, and I'm now bringing that experience to Superprof — structured, one-to-one coaching built entirely around you. No fixed script: I listen first, then tailor each session to what will actually move your work forward.
My approach is patient, honest, and encouraging. I'll always make sure you leave with a clear, practical sense of how to improve — and the confidence to keep going. My goal is simple: help you send tapes you're genuinely proud of, and grow as an actor along the way.

Self-tapes can feel like shouting into the void — you send it off and just... wait. I want to change that. My background has given me a real understanding of what actually happens on the other end: what makes a tape stand out, and what small things quietly hold people back. Paired with my drama school training, I bring both that informed eye and the craft-focused coaching of a trained actor.
No two actors work the same way, so no two sessions look the same either. We'll dig into your monologue or sides, your habits on camera, what's already working and what isn't — and build from there, at your pace. Whether this is your first self-tape or you've sent fifty and can't figure out why nothing's landing, I'm here to help you actually understand why, not just get notes.
I've coached actors informally before, and I'm genuinely excited to now do this properly — one-to-one, online, and built around you.
