About Leanna

Hi, my name is Leanna H and I’m so excited to work with your child! I specialize in early childhood education and truly love helping young learners grow both academically and personally during these important early years.

I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged. My tutoring style is patient, positive, and engaging. I use age-appropriate teaching methods that include hands-on activities, visual aids, games, and interactive learning to keep children interested while building strong foundational skills. Whether we are working on early reading, writing, math, or school readiness skills, I focus on making learning feel fun — not frustrating.

In our sessions, I also work on building confidence, independence, and a love for learning. I understand that every child develops at their own pace, so I tailor lessons to match your child’s needs, strengths, and learning style. I celebrate small wins, encourage effort, and create an environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things.

Communication with families is very important to me. I’m happy to share progress updates, areas we’re focusing on, and simple ways you can support learning at home.
